1.
I want to eat your heart. (If I could trick you, I would trick you.) I will run away, (With blood on my lips Like ruby red lipstick.) He took my love and he ate it up, Filled by it but for a single day. He took my hand and my future read: I would never love again. I spit it out. I fall to my knees. And I swear it, Something evil rose in me.
2.
neverland 00:29
My body does not belong to you. Do not ask me to smile. My feelings do not belong to you. My heart is not for you to judge. My mistakes belong to no one else, Count yours before mine. I don’t fucking belong to anyone, And I never will.
3.
Where do I begin? I walk in circles, Over and over, And slowly die. Selling my seconds, All too fucking sober. Words and deeds Create patterns so ugly, It makes my head hurt. I used to think things would be different by now.
4.
Cut me through with stone, Cut me through skin and bone. I’ve been told what to do, I’ve been told i’m alone. Sew me shut, shut me up. Stitches across my lips, Never talk, only shame. Box my ears, hold shut my eyes, Re-write my words, I’ll tell your lies.
5.
winter 01:48
This winter isn’t cold enough. I’m old enough to know It’s not time to settle yet. When the skies become blue again, The grey will escape to the edge of fall. I wonder if hanging on is worth it at all. Holding to hopes, Holding to you. But if I’m not holding onto anything What’s it all for? This winter isn’t cold enough.
6.
I’ve done it again, Been a fool. Let the breath out of me, Like sparrows Out of a cage. Wine can’t wash these hands clean. These hands can’t hold water. I’ve been a fool.
7.
Destroyed everything you love. You can’t change what you’ve become. Do you know who is at fault? Destroyed everything that you love. It destroys you. I know my faults, And I can’t hide them. I can’t sleep at night, Because the voices rattle on in my head, About how things used to be, About how things should be. I can’t change what I’ve become. Too many lives are charged by egos, Too many people lock themselves in their rooms, Declaring the world an ugly place. Maybe our moms didn’t hold our hands tightly enough, Or maybe society held them too tight. This is wrong, and this is right. All I know is, I can’t hide my anger anymore, And I’ll scream to the top of my lungs. Destroyed everything you love. I’m fed up. I’m fucking fed up. Destroyed everything that you love. You can’t change. It’s my fault. Destroyed everything you love.
8.
Woke up to bright lights Body on the floor I only lost sight Slowly my body goes Don’t let go Mirrors remind me of empty eyes Molded shoulders worked in by the weight of eight hours sold Saving up to pay for my grave.
